Local schools, youth and community groups!
We’d love you to join us in this fun, creative initiative that helps raise funds and awareness for Darlington Mind, a local charity supporting mental health in Darlington, Hambleton, Richmondshire and South Durham.
Go Bright for Mind is all about getting together to support mental health in a fun way! It’s not just about wearing bright clothes (though that’s a big part of it) – there are so many fun things your school can do to get involved! Here are a few ideas:
• Decorate your school or meeting place: Turn it into a colourful wonderland with bright banners, posters and rainbow displays!
• Bake it bright: Hold a fun bake sale with vibrant, colourful treats.
• Crafty fun: Organise a crafting session where students can make colourful creations to raise awareness and show their support.
• Games and challenges: Organise games, obstacle courses, or even a talent show to spread positive vibes and start conversations around mental health.
• Wear your brightest: On a designated day, everyone can wear their brightest, most fun outfits or accessories – think neon, glitter, and everything that sparkles! You could even have organise a dazzling disco or a fantastic fashion show.
This is the perfect way to bring your school / group together, raise money for an amazing cause and get creative while talking about mental health in a positive, supportive way.
