Mental Elf Festive Fun Run

Everyone is welcome! The event is non-competitive and open to all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re a regular runner, just starting out, or simply looking to enjoy an active day with family and friends, there’s a place for you.

Children aged 5 and under can take part for free. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Wheelchairs and pushchairs are welcome, so everyone can join in and enjoy the event.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to run with you or come along with spectators. Please watch out for other runners along the route. Dogs must be kept on a short lead and we ask owners to be mindful of both adults and children that may be uneasy around dogs, even if your pet is friendly.

Your entry fee includes a runner's medal and a goody bag, as well as a warm-up led by a fitness professional. Some entertainment will also be provided on the day.

Children aged 5 and under can take part for free. Please note that free entries do not include a goody bag; however, we often have spare medals available and will be happy to offer these while stocks last.

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to go at their own pace, especially if bringing children. Pushchairs are welcome but, for safety reasons, we cannot permit bicycles or scooters.

Your entry fee helps us put on the event safely and successfully, covering essential costs such as your medal, goody bag, professional warm-up, entertainment and medical support on the day.

Most importantly, your participation also helps us raise vital funds for our mental health services, supporting people in our community when they need us most.

Fundraising is encouraged, but we’ve kept the target to just £20 so it’s achievable for everyone. Whether you ask a few friends and family members to sponsor you or simply make a small contribution yourself, every pound makes a difference.

Raising £20 can be as simple as getting four people to donate £5 each and you could even raise more! Every donation helps support our cause and makes taking part even more worthwhile.
