Children and Young People – you might be feeling stressed, unhappy, or worried and need someone to listen to this line is for you. Confidential support and advice is also here if you need it.

You don’t necessarily have to have a question ready to ask. Speak to us as regularly as you like it’s free too.

Parents and families we can provide support, information and advice on a variety of topics relating to children and young people aged 11-18, including how to support them, emotional distress, behaviour, mental health and well-being.

Welfare or Befriending Calls

For individuals we are offering free welfare calls to see how you are, to listen and provide emotional and practical support if you need it – families can be reassured that there’s someone else who can keep in touch with their loved ones plus free Befriending calls email: crew@darlingtonmind.com  (County Durham and Darlington) or NYTeam@darlingtonmind.com  (North Yorkshire)


Free prescription collection service

email: services@darlingtonmind.com – do you need help to collect your prescriptions? Signed permission required. All staff involved have been fully trained, vetted, carry picture ID and hold an enhanced DBS check. Darlington and Northallerton.

Free mini-bus hire (with driver)

email: services@darlingtonmind.com – If you need help to transport supplies – we can help – free of charge but donations towards fuel would be appreciated. Unfortunately we cannot carry people at this time during to social distancing regulations.
