Marketing and Development Officer

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Marketing and Development Officer to join our team and help take our comms and fundraising to a new level. With experience of a wide range of fundraising activities and knack for engagement and social media communication, the successful candidate will come into an exciting program of events and activities for 2024 and will be central to the success of that program and building on it for 2025.

Job Type: part time, up to 30 hours per week (shift pattern to be agreed/negotiated)

Based: Darlington Office

Salary £28,860 per annum (FTE)

The main duties and responsibilities:

Reporting to the Strategic Development Manager you will be responsible for community fundraising, events planning, engagement with business and community, lead generation, stewardship, digital campaigns and innovations in our fundraising and marketing activities.

Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken as will two references for all staff and volunteers who work for Darlington Mind.

Children and Young People's Sessional Counsellor

Darlington Mind is seeking Level 4 qualified counsellor with a minimum of 100 hours experience to provide counselling support to 11 to 18 year olds with mental and emotional health difficulties in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area

Job Type: Bank hours as required

Salary: £14 per hour

A satisfactory enhanced DBS check is required for this role along-with two satisfactory references.
